Hot Cut Blades and Pneumatic Hot Cut Knives

Carolina Knife Co. manufacture hot cut blades, pneumatic hot cut knives, and hot cut assemblies for converting textile products. The hot cut knife consists of a holder and a hot-cut element or blade that operates at up to 1500 degrees F. The knife element is replaceable.

This enables a woven or non-woven product to be cut and sealed in one operation. Hot cut knife converting can be more cost effective than Ultrasonic slitting when edge fraying or unraveling is of primary concern.

Types of Hot Cut Assemblies

At Carolina Knife Co. we manufacture three types of hot cut assemblies.
